Sunbox
Helly Beech was a colonist on the moon Gomer 2. It was a small self sufficient agrarian community. The most exciting thing that happened when she was a kid is the occasional visit from a union representative. She grew up with her parents and a younger brother. She learned all about how to maintain the colonies biosphere and at 16 started an apprenticeship to the chief mechanic of the biosphere. She showed a surprising knack for piloting the small mechs they used to access parts of the sphere during her apprenticeship. She was considering enrolling in the Union naval academy for more excitement and was visiting a local union hub to learn more about it when pirates attacked Gomer 2. For reasons unknown they destroyed everything and left no survivors. Her parents bodies were recovered, but not her brother. She immediately enrolled in the Naval Academy and was recruited from the academy into the Grid Iron games.
Physical Description
Identifying Characteristics
Helly is pale from growing up in a system with a relatively weak star. Frizzy brown hair that is never under control. Soft-spoken to a fault.
