Gyran

In an empty field, just west of the Stricken Cliffs, a gathering of folk had formed. They stood in a wide circle, chattering and shifting about with anticipation. In the center of this circle was nothing at all, yet the crowd watched the empty patch of land with bated breath.   Someone blinked. There was a silence before great whoosh of fabric exploded from nothing. The carpet unfurled midair like a great red sack splaying open. Inside the sack were wagons, lampposts, banners in the center of it all, a great big tent. The carpet laid to rest on the grass and sat atop were its contents: A carnival.   Nothing happened. The crowd stood gawking at the shanty that simply wasn't just 5 seconds ago. Then, striding from the tent with the confidence of a giant, was a slim, beaming halfling. He wielded a cane, tossing it into the air and catching it with vigor before announcing "My good ladies and gentlemen... WELCOME TO GYPLIC!"   The crowd erupted, and the celebration began.

Demographics

Travelling shows attract all folk, many come to visit and some decide to stay. Gyplic is well know as a haven for Fringe Folk and Reformed alike, so those shunned by the larger capitals oft find a home in the carnival.

Infrastructure

Gyplic has no roads nor infrastructure to speak of due to it's nomadic nature. The entire town sits atop a great red carpet

Districts

The Square If you've a gold piece to spare there are few better ways to spend it than entry to The Main Square. The square sits in the very center of Gyplic, surrounded by artisanal walls and an open paved area inside. Here you will find the very best of Gyplic; the most expensive stores, talented performers and re   Sideshow Alley Games   The Lanes Shopping   The Tents Shows   The Village The Village is cast only and rightfully so. Consisting of dorm rooms, mess hauls and wash stations, it's hardly the center of revelry. Gyplic is a shanty after all and people do live here. Whilst some have their own homes within the shanty, or seek accommodation elsewhere, many take advantage of the facilities provided. The food is serviceable, and beds warm, but the true boon of the village are its prices: free. Provided you're a cast member of course.
