Suamste

Industry & Trade

Suamste was a trading town. It didn't have a specific industry but since it was between two big towns (Aifha and Buzir) and on many trade routes, it was a place for weary travellers and budding merchants to stop. Suamste sustained itself and prospered by providing safe and reliable places to trade, buy, and sell goods.

Infrastructure

Suamste was filled with houses and courtyards. It also had barns and taverns for travelling merchants.

History

Initially, it was a small town between two big towns (Aifha and Buzir). Eventually, it grew and was large and prosperous due to all the trade happening. After many decades of peace, Toroch, the son of a rich merchant (Racen), started throwing many parties and events, making Suamste famous for them. After Toroch's passing, the town struggled to maintain its status as a party town and eventually fell back into trading with merchants and travellers. After many years, Suamste and the other counties in the Western kingdoms were turned into cities as the giant populations increased and modern advancements were made.

Points of interest

After Racen passed away, his son, Toroch, inherited the Lyara and used it to throw many parties and revelries in his courtyards. His parties became famous all around the Western kingdoms and many giants travelled from all over the place to visit Suamste and experience Toroch's grandeur. He lived a long life and developed the reputation of Suamste as a party county.   The courtyard where he threw most of his parties is still preserved although his house and the rest of the town was destroyed for development. Giants can host parties there for their own events. For tourists, Toroch Revelry throws balls and parties there so that giants can experience what it would be like to attend one of Toroch's parties. (They wouldn't know that Toroch's parties had more energy, food, and were on a much larger scale.)
Type
Large town
Inhabitant Demonym
Suamstian
This might be important: Suamste (and the other counties in the Western kingdoms) was inhabited by giants, not normal people.
