Construction beginning/end

2021
4/6

The night before the big exhibit arrives. All the artifacts are offloaded, and moved into the Walters Art Museum. The city crackles with a tense, positive energy. The summer is hot, but things have been good, and the tourists pouring into town have been a blessing on everyone's business. The day passes, and construction crews begin to move in to the Inner Harbor to start reconstruction of Phillips Tower as the Infrastructure Act kicks off in full swing last. Red granite stone statues of incredible craftsmanship begin to ship out around the city as well, ready for installation as part of the Beautification Act that has begun in concert. Eventually the sunsets; hard work turns into hard play, and the city's dead awake.
