Barahn-Duhr (Bah-rawn-duhr)

Geography

Barahn-Duhr is a relatively small continent; from west to east it spans roughly 500 miles at its widest point and 550 miles from north to west. Large, fast-flowing rivers and serene lakes cut through the land, creating islands of all sizes; grasslands stretch across the south and slowly give way to lush forests in the east, and rolling hills and gigantic mountains to the north.

  • Tower of Yoradin: A tower that was mysterious even pre-Calamity. It sits alone on an island northwest of Port Roe.

Fey's Folly

Main article: Fey's Folly   A long stretch of land to the east, Fey's Folly was bestowed its name after the Calamity due to the prevailing belief that the Fey were responsible for what had happened. Prior to the Calamity, it was known as the Fey's Respite.

Plains of Erravest

Main article: The Plains of Erravest

Flat, grassy plains occupy a vast stretch of land that connects the northwestern desert to the southeastern Silverwood. These plains host a number of ruins from Pre-Calamity times, and even some from more recent years.

  • Bluewater: The ruins of a pre-Calamity fishing town.
  • Cauldea: The largest and most populous of Barahn-Duhr's major cities. Named for the original Cauldea, whose ruins still lie to the west.

  • Ethenduin: Along the border of the Silverwood and the Golden Rise, and situated on an island all its own, is the large Fey-dominated city of Ethenduin.

  • Lake Lazuli: A large but otherwise unremarkable lake that occupies much of the woods.
  • Lleywin: A small fishing village that occupies the largest island on Lake Lazuli. It is the only settlement that has ever been built in the Wayward Woods.
