Doru
The son of Father Donovich at the Church of the Morning Lord in the Village of Barovia. He was abducted by Strahd some time ago, and when he returned to the village he was afflicted with something that made him bestial and crave blood. Fearing for what he might do, Donovich locked him in the basement of the church. His cries can still be heard there, begging for blood as he starves without seemingly dying.
The party tried to cure Doru of his affliction, only to have Gio and Idris bitten. When Idris tried to cure Doru, orange and yellow energy spread throughout his veins. In the end, after being subdued, Doru sat on the ground, humming an eerie tune.
