Session 35

General Summary

Godly Brainstorm

After the party took a moment to converse with their significant god person thing, the party reconvened. But first, Ahrieya had to see who this new person was in the home. Walking inside, Ahrieya introduced herself to Niza. She was brought into the fold when the party told her a card prophecy said she was going to help them take down the dick in the castle. Ahrieya then told the timid woman that she needs to shape up and promptly walked away.
With Ahrieya returned, the party began her discussion. Vaund is willing to work together, though certainly has reservations about Coryphian. The Lady of Mourning stated something very similar, though she seems much lower on the power scale compared to the others. Ursor seemed to just want Nova to reach the mountain, something she already knew. Ariadne's mother spoke to her via warm winds and an owl. She also got a nice new amulet. Idris, what about Coryphian? Well, apparently he cant be trusted now can he? But his agenda was still the same.
Before going to bed, a few conversations were had. Ariadne spoke with Niza, asking her if she's ready to return to her home in the swamp. Niza read her poem to Ariadne, and then remarked on how the moon was a comforting source of inspiration.
Idris spoke to Sena. So you might actually be stuck in this place as well, since theres no known way of leaving besides being vistani. Perhaps she can marry in. Shrugging off the idea, Idris remarked again how she can join her other band mates. Sena still feels theres something here she needs to do, though is glad to hear about the struggles of Coryphian with Grim.
Ahrieya spoke to Ireena on the roof of the home. The concept of her being a reincarnation of Tatyana was discussed, and despite that, she is still her own person. Sergei, the one Tatyana was to marry, seems too have been reincarnated too, though his body and soul seem separate. The abbot also wants to talk, but we can do that when you're ready. Ireena expressed her condolences for the loss of Ahrieya's parents. Ahrieya responded quickly with that it wasn't really him that did it. He's just sick is all.

Off to the Swamp

In the morning, Idris asked Ireena if she could do something for him. As he began pulling old dresses out of Ariadne's bag, he asked if she could sew and mend one of these to fit Sena, as well as provide a bit of floowery embroidery. Agreeing to do so, the party gathered everyone together and began to travel.
Along the way, the party ran into an old woman foraging on the side of the road. Reluctantly, especially with their track record with old women, the party approached her as she introduced herself as Jenny Greenteeth. She explained she was simply foraging for ingredients for the small potion shop she runs outside Vallaki. Not wanting to purchase any of her goods, the woman gifted the party with some "Wolfsbane," which will prevent wolves from attacking so long as you keep them on your horse.

In the Mire

As the party travelled south, the dirt turned to mud, and as most of the party began to wade through thigh high waters, Nova was nearly up to her neck in the swamp. Peering across the river, the party saw a wide circle of stones not to dissimilar to what they had observed outside the windmill. Ahrieya and Gio took a moment to fly over and investigate, only seeing depictions of a woman apparently weaving things into being.
Reconvening, the party delved deeper into the swamp. This is not how Niza remembers it, though it has been some time since she last lived here. Hearing some creatures dip into the water, Viggo took a look around to find 4 smaller ripples and 1 larger ripple approaching the party rapidly in the water. Soon, the party was attacked by many venomous snakes, as well as a larger, humanoid looking creature with vacant, red eyes wrapped in snake skin. Though tough, the partly managed to pull through, Nova draining the life from every snake she encountered.
Deeper in the swamp, Viggo was able to scout out a few women preparing something inside the dilapidated huts, as well as a familiar looking scarecrow-like construct which seems to be inert. Though, before his cover was blown, Viggo appeared back with Ahrieya.

The Swamp Witch Herself

Approaching the door, the party saw that there were many cages outside the home smack dab in the center of the ruins. Within each cage, the party could see ravens squawking incessantly. Nova could hear that each of them were crying for help. Moving up, Idris and Ariadne would knock on the door as Ahrieya, Gio, and Nova watched. Knocking on the door, the party could hear the crying of a baby of inside. Odd.
As the door opened, an old woman moved into the doorway. Idris took this opportunity to ask who they are if they are willing to leave. You have angered someone very important and hurt someone unintentionally. What a shame. The woman responded by saying everyone calls her Mother. With some good points and even better judgements of character, The witch the party believes is Baba Lysaga invites both Idris and Ariadne inside in order to discuss the terms of her eviction. After refusing, as Idris' visage can be troubling to small children, the woman claimed to return outside to discuss after she tends to her child. As the door closes, Ahrieya took the moment to blink inside, keeping between the woman and the baby. Denying her from interacting with the baby, the woman, irritated, shot a bolt of necrotic energy toward Ahrieya as the fight ensued. Ahrieya tried to exit the hut with the baby in tow, but it seemed the child was not real. With Ahrieya and Ariadne inside, Ahrieya banished Baba Lysaga away. As the party began to spread out, she appeared outside and began riding a lizard-like skull, claiming Mother Night would never let her be sent away. 
As Baba Lysaga assailed the party outside, the house itself began to move and assault Ariadne and Ahrieya inside, indeed taking Ahrieya down. Ariadne noticed there was a person strapped to the top of the hut actively bleeding (though still alive), and tried momentarily to take her down before blinking to the top of the hut and try to take down the witch. Idris managed to have the house beat itself up significantly, as well as work with Niza to bring Baba Lysaga's flying skull to the ground. As a moon beam hit the witch, her form shifted to a diseased looking dragon-like creature. Though the form was short lived as Gio's well, placed strike took the woman down, though the house was still active. Viggo, panicked, flew inside to tend to Ahrieya as Nova eventually took down the house with the help from the rest of the party, damaging everyone inside.
With the threats seemingly finished, Nova released all of the ravens in cages, Ahrieya tended to and returning to consciousness, and taking the person pinned to the ceiling of the hut down, the party managed to also find a glowing green gem under the floorboards as well as a chest containing some of the witch's possessions.  Niza approached the corpse of the dragon-like creature. Upon contact, the draconic form dissolved into ash as the witch remained. Niza then straightened up, feeling much more invigorated, claiming that its finally good to be back to normal.
