Vulkur

Vulkur is the patron god of sailors. The legend goes that he was once a mortal captain, who challenged the wrathful goddess Umberlee and emerged victorious; elevating him to godhood. He is the god of favorable winds, and is ever doing battle with the fury of the seas themselves. It is tradition for Bleak sailors to quietly call upon Vulkur's blessing when boarding a ship; as well as during storms of unusual tenacity.
