Izek
Izek is a menacing and despised figure in Vallaki, known for his violent nature and loyal service to the baron. His notoriety stems from his deformity—a fiendish arm capable of conjuring fire, adding a supernatural and fearsome aspect to his character. Throughout Vallaki, Izek is widely disliked, creating an atmosphere of fear and tension in the town.
One particularly disturbing aspect of Izek's character is his obsession with Ireena. He has been compelling the toymaker Blinsky to create numerous dolls resembling Ireena, and his room is filled with these eerie creations. This unsettling behavior hints at a dark fixation and adds a layer of psychological horror to his already menacing presence.
The party has had a direct confrontation with Izek, culminating in a fierce battle that resulted in his decapitation. His lifeless body, with the head placed on top, now adorns the stocks in the town center. The party's macabre addition of the carved phrase "ALL IS WELL" reflects a grim commentary on the oppressive atmosphere in Vallaki and the twisted sense of order imposed by the baron and his enforcers.
