Session 32: Orc Decisions and the Cairn and Tomb of the First Daughter of Jesharaum

General Summary

It is the late afternoon of the 17th of Fall Feather, and the crew are rounding up lost horses and moorbounders from their previous combat: raiders searching for the life Auna, princess to the Scions, first daughter to the Matriarch of the Orc Empire.
During this time, Aikhon first discusses with Jack and Jim, still alive after the master Barrelrider was slain by the orc raiders. They discuss that Jim would like to be paid for more, Jack is still upset by the death of Barrelrider, and that they were going to assassinate someone, well poison someone, from the Matriarch's main tower. Aikhon asks them to wait to take further action before he can investigate more, and they agree, and the Captain and others convince Jack, Jim, and Seren, as lead by Teyos, to return to the ship and inform the crew of their slight change in venue. They choose to head to the cairns, tombs, and vaults of the Scion ancestors.
After a few hours of relatively easy travel, with the The Five Towers of the Scions of Jesharaum still behind them looming, they slowly notice Skiff went down the stairs without them, and that the door was not so sealed as they thought. Someone else was down there, attempting to tombraid just like them.
Skiff hears the others behind him, so he distracts these orc raiders with his tininess, allowing for Aikhon to liquify a few in the front lines near the door, and the others begin to intimidate he remaining commander. He eventually flees, but not after suffering much damage, and Roland and Ilknar beating on him.
Skiff eventually goes to the left most tunnel, and beyond a door, he finds chest filled with orc ancestor's bones, and a small figurine to Kurtalmak. Little does he know, this tomb was from an daughter of Jesh who worshiped dragons. Auna finds him looting, and she steers him back to the group.

This was only after Skiff discussed with one of the Wardens, and that orc, blind and old, turned invisible and made illusory duplicates to protect him, and lead the rest of the group down the right hallway. Here the are met with a giant, rotting troll. He scrapes at the others, even the Orc Warden. However, his girth and weight of his body is too much to squeeze through the tight caverns, not unless he destroys the walls and ceiling on his path to its presumed captors.
Meanwhile, Ilknar finally gets the main door leading north open, and he, Skiff, Nethpione and E'krae are greeted by a strange Medusa mural on the wall. It entices them into her painting, to sit on the throne next to her. Nethpione and E'krae are unable to resist.
