Session 67: Legends and Wars: Animaesus and Tarrasques
General Summary
Liam spends time crafting, a poison of paralysis, and he begins crafting a powerful healing potion. This is during the first five days.
S'arrek spends time to learn the legends of the scimitar he was able to procure from the vaults of his own, but things that Orcafor kept for his own.
He also convenes with Eros to help him understand how the magical dance and bond works, what she did with K'ash, so he can do the same with Kelrir. Eros is able to teach the dance, but only after S'arrek takes time to really understand and investigat the movements and their meanings. His investigation aids him greatly, this practice. Then when he finally dances, althought it looks rickety and rude, it finds the right grooves and movements, and the ruby platform glows, ready for his connection to the Great Ape. The Wizard sends a magical message to the mind of Kelrir, and he attempts to awaken the primordial. "Kelrir, you have broken free, and we should become more, together." And the beast acknowledges.
He is now bound to the ancient being, and now he and the others have another stronger foothold against the Jourvian Dwarf Invasion. Here, they begin to lay plans to assist the lapids, and S'arrek gets some gems from the Queen to summon elementals to assist: Xorn and Salamanders, to dig and to forge. Eros also asks her father about his own demon summoning, and it also goes very, very wrong on his part, for he didn't have the arcane knowledge to fully know what to do.
The plans entail a larger use of hit and run tactics, for they are vastly outnumbered in the availability of capable fighters. Stryke also gets to work on Catapults, and the others into pits, spikes, tunnel ambushes, and other situations to assist and confuse the dwarves. Liam is up for the fighting, not so much for the planning.
They get lost in a discussion of magic and souls during these plans, and the world even wonders if S'arrek or Eros are more correct: souls fragment, or souls are destroyed.
Eros also suggests that they also take advantage of the connections they made in faraway lands. The Dragon Rider Allic should be able to assist them.
