Session 96: Scallywags: Lost Gambit: Fists, Dragons, Giants
General Summary
They are on a cliff, and storm, dragons, fly above them. They are on a cliff, and a water wall separates them from the leaders of The Regent isles. They are on a cliff, and Giants rise, and smite, Dovah brothers, dragonkin, take advantage of their own aims, of old men down on the the rocks.
Roland takes Beart, the lead informant of the Devil's Gambit, and he forces the young creature, a shapechanger of some sort, to drink an alchemist's fire. He screams, and it impedes the creature from casting most of its spells. Beart, the informant's name, yes, still concentrates on a confusion, for Roland and his adoptive father Vuulmesh. And, there is another caster who has charmed the captain and others to return tothe village and find some stone that they left on; however, Mila's antimagic field has stopped most of these movements, but still guards are rising, swords swining, and Ilknar and Roland fend off, with Brimstone and Sasha's help, where they may. Brimstone strikes at guards, and Sasha engages with them as well.
However above, dragons fly, and Lady Sasha soon flies up to greet the dragons, to know the strength of them like she has seen before.
Aikhon takes stock of the area, and assists his brother, but the chaos soon distracts him from others, other members of this Dark Gambit, who are attempting to light dynamite and others. However, they are fighting against the intense winds, the rain, and the storm above. The Regent even attacks, and with this, they seem to be winning, the Scallywags, pushing away the dark guards of this organization Roland was a part of, but Vareth soon steps forward, and he leers over the leader, Vull Somer, and he begins to stab repeatedly into the sides of the man, wanting the death to be painful and true. There is old grudges bewteen these two. With this Ilknar tries to grapple the dragonborn rogue, but it is Mila who is able to teleport Vull away to saftey, 1000 feet away, closer to the village, more than a half mile still down the hill. A scream from Beart is released here, and eventually Roland releases--at a promise for magic to be ceased by Beart today--the informant back into the crowd.
Lady Sasha is waylayed by another flier, and this giant of man, with corded wing from some other creature wrapped around him. He barrels into Sasha, and she soon is able to throw him to the grownd. She is then engaged with the first, astride a dragon, taking a cloak to hide her, Elremretta, and she turns invisible. Her dragon dives, and goes to engage with the others below.
Mila begins to dragon Vull down the hill. He tries to break free, but he is unable, an he is confused how the gnome is able to hold on to him, a level training he has never seen. But soon the dragon lands, and Brimstone climbs on to it, and it roars. Mila wants to turn around, but she sees the witnesses of the moot running in zig zags down the rocky hill. She also sees another form, in the dark, another black dragon, waiting for an easy meal. She cannot allow this, and she teleports through an arcane gate, dragging Vull, implying strongly that he will assist his own people by fighting this dragon menace.
Vareth has taken out the remaining guards, enough so that only one has some bad luck with few remain dynamite binds, and he is unable to set it alight. He runs. Only a few guards remain, and Brimstone lets the Regent and Feanger finish them off, but by this point the Regent has summoned help, Throngar, a local storm giant, and his sword waylays the last remaining guards.

With this, Ilknar, Brimstone, Lady Sasha, and others are able to attack the new villain and take her down. Ilknar ensures, as does Brimstone when he uses her body to attack the other Chosen, this giantkin, who roars when he finally ries form being thrown to the ground from Sasha, after taht same yuanti had fallen atop Elremretta to keep her prone long enough for Ilknar to slay her, and Brimstone to, yes, use her as a club.
Roland follows his draconic father Vuulmesh, and they soon ride the dragonborns summoned crystalline tricertops. Roland sees the dragon and Mila engaging, and he gets his father to ride in that direction, even taking the modified carbine on the ride to fire at the dragon.
The fight still rages atop, even with Roland and Mila, and many others below. Ilknar holds off this enraged Chosen, and Brimstone, The Regent, Sasha, and Aikhon all watch on; this creature has lost his sanity, and he wishes for vengeance. Brimstone is the villain, the slayer of his Elremretta.
