The undead of High Cromlech pay homage to Khyriad, the god who they say bestowed the gift of undeath to BasLag. Legends say that at the dawn of creation, he saw how terribly wasteful it was for mortals to only live for a brief time, and thus gave his faithful the means with which they could worship him indefinitely. He is credited with the creation of vampires, zombies, and all manner of similar beings. As long as his worshippers among the undead pay the occasional homage to him, Khyriad is regarded as a fairly hands-off deity.
