Jhour

Jhour is one of the ridings of Armada, bordering Garwater riding. Its main industry is airship construction. Many dragonborn of all social classes live here.

Governance

Jhour riding is ruled by a "solar queendom" with the dragonborn woman Braginod on its throne. Her death during the New Crobuzon attack results in her brother, Dynich, taking her place.

Ships

• Custody - It is the site of the Aeroworks plant, one of the most important airship manufacturers.
• Saskital - A ship in Jhour riding, Armada. It was one of the five chains holding the harness of the avanc tethered to its underside.
