Darva Dollface

This spirit wears the innocent, rosy-cheeked face of a little girl's doll, framed by modest, milk-blonde bangs. Perhaps her most distinguishable feature (other than the eponymous doll-face) is the enormous mushroom resting on her head like the sunhat of a country belle. It casts most of her painted porcelain face in shadow, obscuring the many pairs of glistening eyes that watch from her empty eye-sockets. She lives up to this fanciful persona with the rest of her wardrobe too, preferring clothes that obscure and exaggerate her form. She is particularly fond partial to dresses. You know, those big ones that can swathe her in layers of billowing silks and still have several inches to pool upon the floor, creating an informal bridal train that stays in a room even after she has left.
Only at her neck and upon her hands and arms does the cloth enveloping Darva Doll get tighter. Distressingly so. These areas are covered by a thin layer of black crushed velvet, that always looks to be slightly wriggling.
For you see, Darva Doll is one of a rare few spirits who is able to inhabit the waking world without having to resort to human possession. This is because she simply opted to possess a roving colony of maggots instead. Her consciousness being spread across each maggot in the colony allows her to manipulate each of them into a form resembling that of a human in almost every way.
Hers is the fear of all those things that are ever-present, yet ever-hidden. The things living in your walls and beneath your boards. She knows all the things you wish she didn't know, and she's gonna use that information to turn in you into a puppet, no different from the maggots crawling underneath her skin.
