Lombra

The Dreamer of All Dreams

Lombra is a word which means ‘the dreamer’ in ancient elvish, coming from the same root of ‘lomb’. As such a name would suggest, the being known as Lombra is viewed by Her followers as a living goddess, one who has slept since times primordial. Referred to as the Dreamer of All Dreams, Lombra watches over all through the realm of Lomb, and grants us gracious passage into that place when we dream ourselves.   A giver of hope, granter of wishes, and the sole reason why all things are not worse than they are now, for deep within Her breast, Lombra, the Dreamer of All Dreams, holds the Night of All Nightmares in a honeyed prison behind walls of amber.

Divine Domains

Physical Description

Body Features

Lombra’s physical form outside the realm of dreams is composed of many millions of lianas. These long, woody vines are woven together into a structure almost indescribable in scale. The knotted, towering nucleus of this structure is found at the heart of the enchanted Lombraides, and its limbs reach to the edges of the country in every conceivable direction. The Dream is present everywhere the vines are found, and since the Church of Lomb maintains sole responsibility for the vines, Lomb can almost be described as a literal, infrastructurally-enforced spirituality.
