The Hopeless Hopefuls
Using instruments patched together from whatever they can find, the Hopeless Hopefuls live up to their names by singing an ecclectic mix of optimistic folk and country songs seasoned with a dash of punk rock that appeals to the downtrodden and, at times, bitter residents of The Railyard . Led by and named for Hope, their singer, the band also features Sven on guitar, Sasha on percussion, and the fine fiddlework of Walter, making for an occasional optimistic, if somewhat slapdash, soundtrack to the shanty town at the fringe of the Industrial District.
