The Silver Scorpion is an ancient piece of alien technology with an embedded sentience that slowly infiltrates the mind of its wearer. In return though, the user is granted enhanced strength and endurance and, as the Scorpion takes over further, access to lasers, force fields and a prehensile tail that automatically acts in defence of the user.

Personal history

Egyptian soldier Yasmin Mostafa was actually daughter of a wealthy politician but joined the army to escape the decadence and find something a little more meaningful. On patrol however, she stumbled upon a tomb wherein she found an alien device known locally as the Silver Scorpion. The device engulfed much of her forearm and she began to hear a voice emanating from within. With a surge of willpower she was able to remove it, but it only responded to her from then on, and every time she put it back on, the voice got louder and the Scorpion spread, giving her more power but further damaging her mind.
