The Sovereign's Speech

[The screen fades in, displaying the imposing figure donned in silver power armour. The crowd at Bathala City's 800th anniversary celebration falls into an uneasy silence as his face fills the screens, broadcasting his message to the entire city.]
“Citizens of Bathala City, heed my words! Today, on this auspicious occasion, I stand before you not as a mere man, but as the voice of truth and liberation! For too long, we have been held captive by the shackles of a corrupt government and the false idols we call superheroes!”
[The camera zooms in on the Sovereign, his eyes gleaming with fervour.]
“The time has come to reclaim our independence, to shatter the illusion of their benevolence! These self-proclaimed heroes, with their capes and masks, have turned our city into a playground for their vigilantism! They answer to none but themselves, wielding power without accountability, trampling upon the rights of ordinary citizens!”
[Maximus's voice grows more forceful, his words echoing with conviction.]
“But fear not, for I am here to lead you! I am the Sovereign. Your voice, your saviour! Together, we will dismantle this false order and restore Bathala City to its rightful owners—the people! No longer shall we live in fear, no longer shall we bow to those who claim superiority!”
[The crowd murmurs, a mix of curiosity and apprehension filling the air.]
“Sovereign Citizens of Bathala, rise with me! Stand tall and strong against the oppression that has plagued us for far too long! Join our ranks, and together, we shall build a new society—a society where the power resides within each and every one of you, where the true heroes are the ordinary citizens!"
[Maximus's voice booms with passion, his words resonating through the celebration grounds.]
“This is not an act of chaos; it is an act of liberation! We will expose the government's corruption, tear down their ivory towers, and return power to the people! But, as with all grand upheavals, a few acceptable losses must be made. Case in point.”
[As Maximus finishes his speech, he clicks a button and the bridge that the heroes are stood on rumbles with the force of an explosion as it crumbles around them.]
“Join us, people of Bathala, and be liberated!”
