Deadlands
Standing between The Great Desert and The West, you are faced with a critical decision: Do you risk travel north of the mountains in the colder, less populated environment, or do you risk the Deadlands?
The Deadlands are littered with destroyed mecha, unexploded shells, and destroyed buildings. Said to be the focal point of the Great Mechanized War just before the Dark Age, you don't need legends and stories to tell you countless battles were fought here.
With all the machines strewn about, it is a haven for archaeologists, hackers, and bandits alike, with raids and their aftermath a common sight along the roads to the East.
Nestled between the wreckage you may find small outposts operated by awakened Automatons in the area, trading supplies and weapons to those who pass through.
