Ben Dabbler

a middle aged halfling with shaggy brown curls bounding from under his tan floppy cap with grey, watery eyes peering out above a heavy brown beard. His clothing, all in various shades of brown, is worn and utilitarian but appears well cared for. Ben has not ben very successful over the years, bouncing around between apprenticeships and Druidic societies, even loosing his thumb to a raccoon at one point. When he finally gave up and came back home to his parents Haggensblad he sat in the shed for months just playing with his plants. While buying supplies one day @Scribbles and Nibs, he met the love of his life, Kailen. HE was smitten with her from the start, and she was there through the worst time of his life when his family's farm burned down with his parents still inside. Kailen helped him through, and even encouraged him to set up his store the @Bargain Ben. They got married in 1799 and welcomed their first child Ella Dabbler in 1801. They've been happy ever since, but the store really only makes enough for them to get by. Ben is determined to do the best for his family, even though it scares him to death, and has been diligently working on his plants just waiting for one to take off and change the world. June 1st 1804, he finally did it. He discovered Hero's Wort and if he can get the business off the ground, this will be the big break he's been waiting for.
