Panflower

Name: Panflower
Location: Pensan Rainforest   Description: Found on the forest floor, the flower part of the Panflower can grow up to 6' across, with leaves reaching out at least this far again in two pairs either side. It is round and appears to be perfectly flat with a lip all around the edge, but the flower does in fact angle slightly down towards a funnel structure at the centre. The yellow topside of the flower is covered in fine sticky hairs that trap unsuspecting bugs which are slowly digested as they passed along to the funnel by the hairs. In the pinky-red funnel, the juices ferment, giving off a pungent smell that permeates from under the flower, attracting more bugs. It is not uncommon to find Angel of Death trapped in these flowers.
