Lule
Located in between the delta of the Twin Sisters and the Ruby Sea, Lule is a sight to behold. This small port is at, and in some places below, sea level. The delta forced its villagers to build their buildings on stilts. There are suspended wooden walkways between buildings constructing a nearly levitating city structure suspended over the marshland that is slowly increasing over the years. While impressive, the town structure isn't what makes it so interesting. The would be watery marsh stretching beneath the elevated sidewalks is covered nearly everywhere by water lilies. The beautiful white flowers with their blanket of green leaves stretch out as far as the eye can see; only a small ring around structures and in deep shadows do they lessen enough to see the water beneath them. The shallow water meets the needs of the flowers so perfectly that they are endemic in the area.

Industry & Trade
Lule is supported almost exclusively by their Apiaries. Their honey is often referred to as liquid gold. While honey can be had elsewhere, the fact that Lule is both the only Water Lily Honey provider, their lillies are infused with arcane energy because the entire settlement is atop a massive leyline structure. While delicious, Lule honey absorbs healing properties from the lines and is sought out far and wide.
Guilds and Factions
House of Whispers
Infrequently spoken about and treated akin to the boogeyman, the House of Whispers is an elite trained group of covert agents specializing in stealth and assassination. They are said to be able to be visible at all, walk on water, and have control over other natural elements. There are a number of further rumors surrounding the house and their assassins, but fear of them tends to keep aggressors from targeting Lule. Even the presence of their headquarters in Lule could be a fallacy, but it is widely believed that they make their home among the stilt town.Order of the Twin Veil
Healers believed to be entwined with the House of Whispers, the Order of the Twin Veil serves Lule and the town's visitors. These aesthetic monks have no property to call their own. They move from residence to residence and are supported exclusively by the community of Lule. Donations to the monks for their services are then gifted to that monk's current provider.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
