Flight of Vartoris'Nemal
There are currently 42 dragons living within the Flight of Vartoris'Nemal including himself, this ranges from newly hatched Wyrmlings to adults randing the spectrum of tiers. The only Tier 1, and the eldest dragon is Vartoris'Nemal himself. There are over 100 kobolds currently living within the Flight as well either as staff or those learning and practicing their art. The Spell Dancers of Xoln often come to the Flight to put on shows and hone their craft for such respected and captive audiences as the dragons of the Flight.
Under the leadership of Vartoris'Nemal the flight survived the near extinction of the dragons by the hands of the hunters, despite their best efforts to try and kill him and his flight. While those who live in the flight seem jovial and carefree focusing on their artistic pursuits they are all well trained in combat under the watchful gaze of the Flight Leader.
Geography
A flight home is a mix of estate and cave system, in this case, the flight of Vartoris'Nemal also includes a large tower a remnant of the old dragon empire. The building stands atop a plateau surrounded by a bog formed by the presence of Vartoris'Nemal with a natural border of rocky hills too small to be mountains. Under the plateau and into the Dawn Peak mountains is the various caves connected together that make up the Flight's living quarters.
History
Knowing the history of Vartoris'Nemal includes knowing at least some of the history of this place, the tower itself is the major point of interest as it was a repository of art for the dragons constructed by the kobolds of Xoln ages ago that fell abandoned when the empire collapsed. After it was discovered Vartoris'Nemal began to expand upon the art he found there, and those dragons who came to his flight do the same. It has since been added onto to include a vast library of both history and stories that are another expression of art. One of the most common displays of art is an illusion put onto canvas or tapestry that tells shows a story or conveys the emotions the creator felt as if you were watching the moment happening before you.
Tourism
While many would like to visit the flight, there are few who are allowed entry outside of the Draz Tyran, the flight s often eager to invite those from within the empire to experience their collection but it is rare for them to offer much to those outside the empire, simply they do not know if they can trust outsiders with such with what they consider priceless art and knowledge, in a sense the art and knowledge is the hoard of the Flight and it is well guarded.
