Ethaeras University
Ethaeras University is the largest public research university of Ethana. It's located in Ethaeras Capitol, and a number of their programs are renowned throughout the globe. They also host the only surviving school of thaumaturgy.
The department of thaumaturgy only houses one individual degree program—Arcana Studies and History—which can be studied by any individual, arcanist or not. Apart from this singular degree, the department's biggest offering is a cross-discipline studying of arcana with many of the other schools or departments. The most common areas of interdisciplinary study are in the medical and scientific fields, however several humanities programs have had notable arcanists graduate with an adjoinment of thaumaturgy study as well. These degrees are only offered to arcanists, as the nature of the degree relies on arcanic capabilities.
Prospective students apply and enroll through the department of thaumaturgy, submitting an letter of application on how their arcanic type and skills are valuable in their prospective area of study before then taking examinations for both their cross-disciplined department as well as the department of thaumaturgy's own rigorous examination. Along with the studies in their primary school or department, they also are required to learn the history and nature of arcana, and its relevent applications. They undergo training and education in navigating arcana as it pertains to their own mind and body, and build the skills necessary for handling the onset of, and delaying the later stages of, arcana poisoning.
Their cross-disciplined study is noted as a prefix to their main degree title as such: Thm. Doctorate of Medicine for a doctor, for example. Generally, arcanists cross-discipline in a field that obviously relates to their arcanic typing, however there are a number of known instances in which students have utilized their skills in more innovative ways.

The University's department of thaumaturgy is one of its smallest departments; as arcanists have declined in population since the founding of the university, it has lessened in enrollment.
