Glimmermist

This Halfling city on the coast of the Bellbonear Deep facilitates trade between the Empire, the Tritons of Caeloch, and the free cities of the Husura Isles. It is therefore one of the richest cities in the world. The Halfling residents insist that all visitors be welcomed with hospitality and treated with respect, and so have managed to avoid the incessant feuding between the Imperium and the Husura Consortium. By ancient agreement, no battles are fought by foreign interests on the soil of the Willingtry Riverlands. The Halflings' own unique form of social combat, while not nearly as physically messy as those other battles, are no less deadly for their veneer of politeness. However, those fights are kept out of the sight of outsiders, for it is Halfling tradition deems it unseemly (not to mention dangerous) to allow guests to see one arguing.
