Superstition

Alongside religious beliefs, the people of Beycillis hold many superstitious beliefs and practices. Especially in the countryside these are known less as "superstitions" and more as "things we know to be true". There, bouquets of herbs hang from windows and bread is tucked into babies' cribs. Still, even city houses have witch marks carved into their walls and any lonesome traveller might wear his clothes inside out just in case.
Superstition runs especially deep in Skander, where no battle is fought without previous haruspicy. But while the people of Moneda might mock them for it, they are not free of superstitions either.
