Asgard Humans

Humans on Asgard are in all parts of society, and many are descended from the higher classes of Old Midgard. When the survivors fled through the Bifrost, it was mostly those of greater power and position that ended up settling on Asgard. However, over the generations this has broken down, with only a few now holding onto their former wealth.

Attitudes

Humans upon Asgard are still ruled by their traditional faiths, and even though they live in the ancestral realm, their outlook on the Aesir and Vanir is still one of traditional worship, in whatever form that would have taken. Those who kept their wealth, and still live in the Capital, Gladsheim, have a general arrogance and entitlement. Though they are no longer Kings and Queens themselves, they see things as if they have been chosen to live where the Gods do, despite the fact most Humans, even in the city, have never set their eyes on an Aesir.

Those who settled in the rest of the realm, have kept their old Midgardian ways of establishing Kingdoms with new Kings and Queens, then raiding and changing those Kings and Queens, though the current establishments have lasted a long time. They have taken over the old wildernesses of Asgard. Raiding, hunting, glory and death. Everything they can do whilst ‘Going a-Viking.’ There are also some Lloss Alfar, who came to settle on Asgard from Alfheim. Most Humans see these individuals rarely as they keep themselves close to the Aesir wherever they can. Most Humans have no particular feelings on them at all.

Those who do mix with the Lloss Alfar tend to find them subservient, yet simultaneously arrogant, and avoid them.

In regard to the Svartalfar and Jotunborn there are no particular prevalent views as they do not come across them/
