A wild, untamed world awaits. The peoples who once lived there vanished centuries ago, leaving behind ruins, mysteries, and vast riches. The wilderness that their civilization once kept at bay has reclaimed the land, and dark powers have begun to stir behind the bindings that keep them locked away.
Will you work with the denizens of this world, or slay them and take what treasures they guard? Will you cleanse the darkness from the land, or are you more interested in finding and retrieving the riches that lie buried by the sands of time? Whatever your goals, your path will lead you deep into uncharted territory, and all the dangers that await you there.
Python is a world intended to be used in a West Marches-style campaign, where the players are exploring an unknown land, in search of things to kill, treasure to loot, and (maybe) friends to make. I use the Open Legend system in my campaign, but it could easily be converted into another RPG system.
