Cavern of the Silent Lady

Carved into the cliffs beneath Qrai-Tilan, a stairway leads down along the wall of the cenote called the Eye of Mehz-Tili. At the bottom of the stairs, a cave mouth yawns, exhaling a faint breeze and the scent of wet, living stone.
The cavern within twists and turns a few times, but soon enough opens up into an underground shrine of sorts. A deep pool sits at the far end, with an idol carved of golden sandstone standing in the center, in stark contrast to the grey-white limestone that makes up the cavern.
Restless spirits have taken up residence here, the tortured ghosts of some scrags (though how exactly they reached this cavern isn't clear). They slew the party of Tilani priests who recently came to reconsecrate the idol, and have mutilated the bodies, fashioning the bones and some of the surrounding stone into a monstrous golem.
