Kobold Quarry

North of Tinkertown lies an open pit in the sandy desert. The kobolds of Tinkertown have been excavating something from the quarry, though a cursory inspection only reveals mundane sandstone beneath the sands, with a dike of basalt cutting through it. Why the kobolds are cutting out large chunks of mundane stone, and where the stone is ending up, are questions that remain unanswered - far more stone has been extracted from the earth than any recent construction in the town can explain.
