Tara Abernathy

Trained in interplanar law, Tara Abernathy was initially a star student, gifted with both an infernal work ethic and a sharp brain. However, the drive to continue to improve meant she began to supplement her infernal work ethic with pacts with actual devils. This was encouraged in the ‘Academie de Silmoise’, as it helped weed out weak students and gave real case experience to those training. After a particularly rambunctious argument with a professor, Tara was thrown out of the Academie (literally, as it resided in a cloud).
Obtaining work without a full degree was difficult for her, and she became a staple of some shadier aspects of law. It was here that her knowledge of Necromancy grew - when dealing with loan sharks, desperate clients would offer parts of their soul as collateral. Tara would return clients in default as indentured servants until they paid off their lein.
After a nasty blood feud with a minotaur who took offence to Tara using her kin as Tara’s bruisers when coming to collect debt, Tara decided she needed to restart in a new sphere of law. When a foolish FExcorp recruiter stopped and physically harassed her in the street, he had no idea what he was getting himself into. Two hours of intense "negotiation" later, Tara had secured a first class pass to Python and was en-route to a new world with a surprising amount of free ‘signing on gifts’, as well as a new ex-recruiter servant.
