Velena

Velena is a Huldra, and resembles a woman in her late thirties, still beautiful but with noticeable signs of her age on her face. Her hair is a brilliant orange, matching the color of her fox-like tail. She wears robes of linen, dyed a vibrant green and pink in a pattern resembling roses climbing up her skirt and sleeves. She is polite to visitors, warm-hearted towards friends, and coldly furious when provoked. She is an experienced magic user, capable of calling up masses of thorns and speeding the growth and healing of living things.
She lives in a small cottage near the southeastern border of the forest, with three Stonesprites and a Kodama Kami as attendants. There she grows a variety of useful plants, including a number of teas and her signature achievement, the famed Golden Rose .
She has earned the title of Baroness of Amber Leaves within the Court of the Green, and her domain covers the southern portion of the Riverwild.
