Unable to win the battle against climate disasters and pollution, the old cities fell and goverments abandoned their people. Some citizens stayed behind hoping to revive the city, but most left. The Founders came together, united by the belief that they needed to shelter away from the world.  Others fled the Toxic Plains, hoping to find a better place.
