Roiling Forges - subsector
A a tumultuous region of space on the outskirts of a nebulae that neighbors -in astronomical terms- the Ilyxis Sector, containing a cluster of stars that have piqued the interest of imperial factions.
So far, a handful of systems have been tagged as of interest by the former Explorator Fleet, but very little officially documented exploration has occurred. It is this undocumented mess of systems in relative close proximity to one another that has earned it the unofficial, and perhaps temporary, title of sub sector, even though it is not recognized as such by the Administratum. Lacking any official designation, it has colloquially been referred to by the name of the nebula due to its proximity.
It is situated coreward and spinward of the Twin Bastion sub sector.
