None of the following is final. I'm not happy with any of it, but I also don't want to take it out, as I like some of the ideas.
While he was alive, Badnīl put on airs of fidelity. And, as far as the people knew, he was completely faithful to Shania. However, he had lovers in most places. Visibility of his many dalliances was well hidden from his people, who continued to revere him well after death. Shania, however, was well aware of Badnīl's infidelity. But for her children, she maintained the ruse that their marriage was completely healthy and happy.
One of Shania's children, Nauŗauk, was Badnīl's constant companion when travelling in the later years of his reign. He became aware of the affairs, despite Badnīl's best efforts and eventual told his mother of the affairs. The palace built for her was named Yīŗish iti Ptibīsh, palace above challenges, after it's nearly impossible construction over the edge of a crater as well as the challenge of their strained relationship.
Nauŗauk's nickname (the Accuser) has a two-fold meaning as he accused his brother as well as his father, although most people do not know of the latter.
While most of the world believes her dead, Shania continues to live.
