The wizard kings were a number of very powerful wizards who lived in the
First Age. They tended to rule over large populations and great land areas, in some cases the entire world. At the end of the First Age, a few rivaled the
gods themselves and fought them in the
God War.

Less than five years after the defeat of Brufra Áng, Zevöbruf chose his name and declared himself Brufran to the world. The wizards who have been imprisoned are locked into a
pocket realm. Each has their own pocket realm that has it's own defenses to keep the wizard in the prison. Generally, a wizard king was imprisoned when one or more gods could not destroy them so they were trapped instead.
