Patrick Charles (a.k.a. Paddy)
Patrick was the oldest son of Lydia and Charles Van Allen. He was happy and jovial; prone to playing pranks. He took prodigious care of his younger siblings, much like his father did for his own siblings. Patrick was tall and lean with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.

History
Patrick took to his baby sister much faster than his little brother John. John likes to hang about indoors and read, But when Elizabeth was little, she would run around outside and play games and climb trees all day. When she got a little older, she began to enjoy dresses and tea parties and more refined and "girly" things, but Patrick loved both his siblings, and would do anything to keep them safe.
Nicknames & Petnames
The family often called Patrick, "Paddy," as their mother was from Ireland, and Elizabeth went by "Lizzy," but only for her family.
