Daralys Astralin was one of the three triarchs of the Kalyrian Triarchy, serving as the monarch responsible for diplomacy and social policy during the War for the Light. He was viewed by the Kalyrian people as a benevolent ruler who was kind and compassionate to his people. His early rule came into great conflict with the work of Jaqen Plethakir, his fellow triarch. Astralin was pivotal in the deposition of Plethakir in 15 BTD following his attempt to assassinate Astralin alongside the Black Hand.
