Siege of Glendale
The Siege of Glendale was the violent placing of a siege on Castle Anders during War for the Marian Succession. Midah III, the Syrincore claimant, had heard that his half-uncle King Brayman had fled Crow's Rest for Castle Anders and ordered Lyrian Tarnell to besiege it. The siege was successful, but Lord Tarnell dragged King Brayman from the castle and executed him on the spot, against the orders of King Midah. This action is seen as extending the war for a further two years.
