The Temple of Our Lady In White
Two magnificent spires reach longingly for the sky, towering high and dwarfing all fellow constructions in Crow's Rest, the capital of Eremere. In between them, a stone door encrusted with sapphires around its rim and fitted with ornate and invaluable stained glass, painting pictures of the Battle for the Light.
Purpose / Function
This building was constructed to honour the great Queen of the Heavens, Our Lady In White. All buried in its crypts will surely be granted eternal life in the White City. This is a place of death, but death can be beautiful.
Alterations
Extensions to the crypts have been regular as more and more kings and nobles die, needing more space for the dead.
Architecture
Two huge spires adorn the two corners at the front, framing a magnificent wooden door encased by a marble arch. Above the door a beautiful stained glass window paints images of Our Lady In White saving the souls of the dead from The Noble In Black. The towers reach high into the sky, with coned roofs that curl like clouds. The base of the structure is surrounded by a rim of Rockland @diosite.
