Khthonika Gate
I suggest you change the topic... Vampire.
At the heart of the sprawling complex of the Hanging Khthonika Gardens rises a broad terrace. The spirals of glazed terracotta tiles are cracked and worn by Aeons of age, the glazes starting to run and fade. At the far end of the terrace stands the Khthonika Gate, a tall archway of terracotta clad stone that appears to twist and warp in ways that are uncomfortable to follow with the eyes. Sometimes it appears to be a circular arch, sometimes more oval, sometimes polygonal.
Nobody knows what lies beyond the gate, or the means of activating it. It existed here Aeons before soul currently extant, and none of the surviving Titans will talk about it.
Guard Hound
Standing as sentinel before the gate is the ancient Kerberos, chained and leashed like some lowly guard hound by bands of Stygian Ice. He has free range over the tiled terrace itself, but is incapable of taking even a single step onto the stairs leading up to it.
Kerberos steadfastly refuses to even acknowledge the gate's existence, and will quickly grow angry if a soul tries to broach the subject.
