Veneros

Veneros, a continent brimming with unlimited magic, lies nestled between The Daeva Empire and the Country of Independent States. The continent, carefully crafted by the Twelve Gods, became a sanctuary for them after they vanished from the Daeva Empire. To ensure no unwelcome outsiders could stumble upon it, they erected Nexus Pillars around Veneros's coastal line, as a magical barrier.

Within the region, there are twelve individual territories or realms, and the responsibility for governing each of these falls upon one of the gods. These realms are unique, reflecting the characteristics and domains of the gods who rule them. Each god's influence permeates their realm, shaping the environment, the inhabitants, and even the weather patterns within it.

Climates and Seasons

Veneros experiences a range of weather throughout the year, with four distinct seasons and a temperate climate that can vary from subarctic to subtropical. It is difficult to comment on the climate as a whole, since it varies strongly in different regions. Summers can be extremely hot and humid, while the winters can be bone-chillingly cold.

The beauty of Veneros lies in its breathtaking scenery, characterized by its many rivers and three stunning lakes that are both wide and deep. Typically, the winds in this specific region are calm and mild, but they have the potential to become fierce and unpredictable during storms. The lack of tectonic activity contributes to the flatness of the land, especially in the central regions. The Northern part has large mountainous ridges with some prominent canyons and valleys.

Because of the accumulation of magic and heavy rainfall during the rainy season, Veneros is rich in exotic plants and animals. Veneros is home to unique plant life, including luminescent flowers that emit a nighttime glow.

Weather

With the errection of the Nexus Pillars resulted in unusual atmospheric conditions.
The magical energy that infuses the land cause storms so wild that it brought about sudden changes in weather. Examples of such phenomena include hail storms that occur unexpectedly in spring and the peculiar occurrence of a downpour of rain in one part of the city while the rest remain bathed in sunshine.   Additionally, the heavy rains during the rainy season can lead to flooding, especially in low-lying areas. The rivers, while usually sources of life and prosperity, can become torrents of destruction, sweeping away everything in their path. Such rain has caused cities to come to a standstill for almost two weeks.   In the northern mountains, winter constantly brings the danger of avalanches. The heavy snow, combined with the unpredictable magical fluctuations, has the potential to cause massive slides, burying everything in their wake.
