Dr. Brynn Evans is a Starfleet physician that has taken an extended leave of absence to help Romulan refugees resettle as part of the Federation Colonial Service. His service in the FCS will also give him an opportunity to look after his young adult son (Osain Evans), who abruptly left a promising teaching career after the Utopia Planitia attack to join the FCS.
He is married to Yosef Staller Evans, a bartender who helps Brynn’s father (Trystan Evans) run a pub located in Philadelphia, North America on Earth called "Y Ddraig Werdd / The Green Dragon," which has been in the Evans family since the early 1900s. In addition to their son, the couple also have a daughter, Nerys Evans, who is a coach for a football club in South Wales on Earth.
