Personal history

An oppressed people were sad because of aforementioned oppression and cried into a river, at which point Lady Tearley sprung fully formed from their tears. For many years she wandered around and cried, scaring off the oppressors. They realized that she was a god, but she didn't actually help the oppressed people on purpose. Then she saw a child crying and realized that her suffering, which was just existential anxiety, was not as great as that of others, so she decided to make others feel better.
