Gratok desert

A derst beyand the rift to the West of Salike. Once home to a great Empire it is unknown if they survived the The Great Quake as no one has been able to cross the rift and there have been no sightings of people since then. What can be seen of it from our side of the rift shows nothing but a barren wasteland scattered with stone buttes and windswept pinacles of stone. The occasional animal has been seen but no sign of sentient life. Recently someone has claimed to have been to the desert and found ruins, sending a parchment to the museum at which idrene works.
