Personal history

Idrene was born in Salike and has lived there her whole life apart from a stint of travelling for two years, when she was twenty two, after finishing university. She had always been fascinated by the times before the The Great Quake and the civilisations that existed before then.

Education

Her family were not particularly wealthy but they ensured that their only child had the best education the city could provide. As such she went to a small private school and then on to the prestigious Salike university where she graduated top of her class in History and archaeology.

Employment

After her travels she worked at a dig site in Nysada for a year, then spent some time among one of the Fringe tribes that were hospitable towards those from the City. She then took a job as a researcher at one of the smaller universities for seven years before attaining her position at the museum. Has worked at the museum for seven years, and has been chief researcher for the last three years. Her job entails dating artifacts and discovering the stories behind them. She then catalogues the items and organises putting them up for display. She also sometimes sources pieces for the museum from collectors.

Idrene is a little bit of a scatterbrain when it comes to day to day to life, and she can sometimes even forget to eat when engaged in a big project.

Idrene's best friend is Castar, who works at the museum as her assisstant. She is also good friends with Sebastion having gone to university with him. She remains friendly with a few people from the Fringe tribe she lived with and keeps in touch whenever she can.
