You gain nourishment from the jungle around you, through some combination of photosynthesis and absorbing minerals with your roots. You typically do not need to pay for food. If you remain outside a jungle for 1 week, you begin to starve. You can derive nourishment by Siphoning Life from another creature; instead of giving a creature temporary Hit Points, you provide yourself one day’s worth of sustenance.
