none are sure when Borohiem was exactly created, all we know is it was close to when the man of the south and the man of the north became gods.
The Man of the South dies and becomes a god, soon after he too promises his people he will find them a new place to live, since their village was just raided by barbarians. During his search he bumps into the Man of the North, they learn they have some common goals and decide to work together.
After another month or two of searching, thanks to eachother's help, the two gods find a habitable country, a country that would be known as Borohiem.
The two gods discover Borohiem and decide to explore it, the two go their seperate ways, one goes south and one goes north. The two soon discover that there are creatures on this continent, creatures like they've never seen before, they were agressive, but nothing more than insects to the gods.
With eachother's help the two gods mapped out the country.
The place would be dangerous for humans, but the gods knew their people were tough enough to survive.
to aid their people in taking refuge on Borohiem the two gods made a race of crafters that would supply their people with food and shelter.
They called this race the Tengu.
The god of wisdom is born after her father, Kurhad, kills an owl spirit.
after years of waiting, the god's people were able to make it to Borohiem.
The Man of the South's people inhabited the southern half of the conintent, and the Man of the North's people inhabited the northern half of the conintent. between the two groups of people was a thick forest full of extremely dangerous spirits, seperating the two for the time being.
one of the Man of the South's ships had been seperated via storm and was taken to an island on the northern tip of the continent, this place is known today as Taratemki.
a few of Shoju's people were unhappy with how things were ran, they thought of themselves as weak and too peacful. these few people banded together and turned to worshipping Kurhad. The group grew over the next 15 or so years, changing from a small gang of 10-15 people to becoming a legion of 200-300, they had even gotten a name for themselves, the Jagerkong.
eventually, their first true leader, Jidoja Kahn, decieded to lead a revolution agisnt the rest of Shoju's people. The Jagerkong were small in numbers, but they had been training in ways to fight for over a decade.
They nearly won, but a lucky shot hit Jidoja in the chest, the group retreated onto their boats and sailed of to the sea. Jidoja died soon after.
after grieving his loss the Jagerkong warriors noticed that they had drifted onto land, it was seemily empty.
what was left of the Jagerkong made their way onto the land, and began to setup camp. the place they discovered is known today as Jagertai.
Valjord was named after a legend the people had about a woman Valurd the Victorious, she was one of the few mortals in history to be able to permanantly kill a greater spirit.
It was said she killed a collosal sea beast, which is why Valjord's flag has a sea serpent at the center.
Buriku on the other hand, was named after the capitan that died getting people to Borohiem. The legend goes that there was a storm tearing through the seas of Borohiem, it was the same storm that brought people to Taratemki, the storm was so powerful it made 50ft waves. The only way people could stay alive was by going to the bottom of the boat, only problem was, it didn't fit everyone. Bou Rykuo died at the mast of this ship. the last thing people heard him say was "The captain must go down with the ship". since then other captains honor his tale by choosing to die with their ship instead of finding some kind of safety.
Over 10 years leaders and nobelmen of Valjord and Buriku gather and discuss their countries. In the end, they believed some change was in order. The two countries were split into provinces, for the time being Valjord only had four and Buriku only had three. After this, the people of borohiem entered a new era.... the independence era.
This is the era where kingdoms are made and wars are won.
Provinces start to become independent and agressive.
a group of fisherman from norrtoi travel a little too far and land on the shores of Taratemki, which has been advancing peacfully for the past 50-ish years.
The Norrtioish fishermen quickly leave, as the place is cold, even for them, and the people are strange.
the news of this island spreads around and a plan to investigate begins to be dicussed.
