Shelah grew up in the town of Oclista working with her dad on the docks. Her father was always a bit ashamed that his family had to work but was never able to really make things work so he could get out of debt.
After his passing, she left on the first ship out of port. Upon her return, hammer in hand she baught a building on the docks and opened River Side Metal Works.
